Born in the kitchen.
Bridget and her husband Eric were home with their son, just over a year old, when the idea for The Kneaded first took shape. Like most new parents, they wanted him close, not in a bouncer watching, but truly involved in the rhythms of daily life. And in their household, daily life happens in the kitchen.
"Cooking was central to everything. It's where the family gathered, where nourishment came from, where the best conversations happened."She wanted her son at the counter alongside her from the beginning. The only problem? Everything designed for kids in the kitchen was made of plastic, silicone, or materials she wouldn't trust near his hands or mouth.
She went looking for an alternative. She couldn't find one. So she built it.
